E01, E02, E03 — Leg Motor or Sync Errors
E01, E02, and E03 indicate a communication or motor fault with one or both legs. Here's what each code means and how to diagnose and resolve it.
What Each Code Means
|
Code
|
Meaning |
| E01 |
Motor 1 (typically left leg) not responding, cable disconnected, or limit switch fault
|
| E02 |
Motor 2 (typically right leg) not responding, cable disconnected, or limit switch fault
|
| E03 |
Sync fault — both legs are moving but not at the same speed; or both motors failing to respond
|
Diagnostic Steps
1. Unplug the desk and check all leg cables
With the desk unplugged, check that both leg cables are fully seated in the control box ports. The connectors should click in — if they feel loose, remove and re-seat firmly.
2. Check for physical obstruction
Verify no cable, object, or furniture is blocking either leg from moving through its full range. A leg that can't travel causes the system to report a motor or sync fault.
3. Plug in and run a full reset
Plug in the desk and hold DOWN through the full ASr reset procedure. After reset, try moving UP and DOWN manually to see if the error clears.
4. Swap cable ports (E03 only)
For E03 sync faults, try swapping the left and right leg cables in the control box ports. If the error changes from E03 to E01 or E02, you've identified which cable or leg has the fault.
⚠️ If E03 occurs during movement (one leg faster than the other): Stop using the desk immediately. A height difference between the two legs puts stress on the tabletop and frame. Run a reset — if the legs won't level, contact support before continuing to use the desk.
