How to Set Memory Presets (Height Positions 1–4)
The RT-11 handset stores up to four height presets. Once programmed, a single button press moves your desk to your preferred sitting or standing height automatically.
Before You Start
- Your desk must be fully initialized (RST reset complete) before setting presets
- The RT-11 handset has buttons labelled 1, 2, 3, 4 and an M (memory) button
- You can overwrite an existing preset at any time using the same steps
How to Program a Preset
1. Move the desk to your desired height
Use the UP or DOWN button to position the desk at the exact height you want to save. The display shows your current height in inches or centimetres.
2. Press and hold M
Hold the M button until the display flashes or shows
S (Save). This puts the handset in memory-save mode.3. Press the preset number to save to
While in save mode, press 1, 2, 3, or 4 to assign the current height to that preset button. The display will briefly show the preset number to confirm it was saved.
Using a Saved Preset
Press and hold the preset button (1, 2, 3, or 4) until the desk starts moving. Release once it's moving — the desk will travel automatically to the saved height and stop. You do not need to hold the button for the full movement.
Recommended Preset Setup
| Preset | Suggested Use |
|---|---|
| 1 | Your primary sitting height |
| 2 | Your standing height |
| 3 | A second sitting height (e.g. for a different chair or user) |
| 4 | Maximum height (for tallest user or stretch breaks) |
💡 Find your ideal heights: For sitting, your elbows should be at roughly 90° with your forearms parallel to the desk. For standing, same rule applies. Use these positions as your starting presets and adjust after a few days of use.
