ISO Certification & Quality Standards

Progressive Automations holds ISO 9001:2015 certification, the internationally recognized standard for Quality Management Systems. This article explains what that certification covers, what it means for your orders, and how to request compliance documentation.

Certifications & Compliance

  • ISO 9001:2015:  The certification covers PA's full scope of operations — from procurement and manufacturing through sampling, quality control, and after-sales service.
  • CE Marking — Products sold into the European market meet EU safety, health, and environmental protection requirements under applicable EU directives.
  • RoHS Compliance — PA products comply with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances directive, ensuring materials are free from restricted substances including lead, mercury, and cadmium.
  • IP Ratings — Many PA actuators carry verified IP ratings (IP54, IP65, IP67, IP69K) for dust and water resistance, tested to IEC 60529 standards. The IP rating for each product is listed in its datasheet.
  • UL Listing — Select PA products carry UL listing for safety compliance in North American markets. Check the specific product page for UL status.

How to Request Compliance Documentation

If you require compliance certificates, declarations of conformity, or RoHS statements for your procurement or regulatory process:

  1. Contact PA support at resources.progressiveautomations.com or sales@progressiveautomations.com
  2. Include the product model numbers you need documentation for
  3. Specify the document type required (CE declaration, RoHS certificate, UL listing, IP test report)

Documentation is typically provided within 2 business days.

Industry-Specific Compliance

PA works with OEM customers across medical, agricultural, marine, and industrial sectors. For applications requiring certifications beyond standard offerings — such as ATEX for hazardous environments or FDA compliance documentation for medical devices — contact the PA sales team to discuss custom product configurations and documentation packages.

Tip: Always request and review compliance documentation before placing large OEM orders. This ensures your end product meets the regulatory requirements of your target market.
