My Desk Won't Move At All
If your desk won't move in either direction and the handset display is on, work through these causes in order — most are resolved without a service call.
Cause Checklist
Possible Cause
How to Identify & Fix
Active error code
Display shows a code (RST, E01–E08). Resolve the error code first — movement is locked until it's cleared.
Height limit reached
If desk is at its programmed min or max limit, it won't move further in that direction. Try moving in the opposite direction.
Needs initialization (RST)
After any reset or first power-on, hold DOWN to run initialization before the desk will move normally.
Loose leg cable
Unplug desk; re-seat both leg cables at the control box; plug back in and run reset.
Physical obstruction
Check that no object or cable is blocking either leg column from extending or retracting.
Power supply issue
Try a different wall outlet. Power strips with surge protection that has tripped will cut power silently.
If None of the Above Apply
If the display is on, no error code is shown, cables are secure, and the desk still won't move in either direction, the control box or a motor may have failed. Contact support with your model name, serial number, and a description of the steps you've taken.
