Progressive Warranty Overview: PA vs PD
PA and Progressive Desk products carry separate warranty terms. Here is a full breakdown of what is covered, for how long, and what is excluded.
Progressive Automations (PA) Warranty
- Coverage period: 18 months from date of purchase for most linear actuators and control systems
- What is covered: manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions
- What is not covered: damage from misuse, overloading beyond rated capacity, incorrect wiring, water exposure beyond the product's IP rating, or normal wear
- Proof of purchase: an order number or invoice is required for all warranty claims
Progressive Desk (PD) Warranty
- Desk frame: 5-year warranty (Depends on different products)
- Electronics (control box, handset, motors): 2-year warranty
- Tabletop surfaces: 1-year warranty
- What is covered: manufacturing defects and mechanical failures under normal use
- What is not covered: cosmetic damage, damage from assembly errors, misuse, or modification
What Is Never Covered by Either Warranty?
- Physical damage from impact, dropping, or improper handling
- Water damage on products used beyond their rated IP protection level
- Operating beyond rated load, speed, or duty cycle specifications
- Modifications or repairs performed by unauthorized parties
- Normal wear and tear over the product lifespan
