What Tools Do I Need to Assemble My Desk?
Most of what you need comes in the box. Here's exactly what's included and what you may want to have on hand to make assembly smoother.
Tools Included in the Box
| Tool | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Allen key (hex wrench) set | Tightening all major frame bolts |
| Hardware bag | All bolts, washers, and screws needed |
| Assembly manual | Step-by-step guide (also available as PDF/video) |
Recommended (Not Included)
- Electric screwdriver or drill (with Allen bit):significantly speeds up assembly — strongly recommended for the Corner Ryzer which has more fasteners
- Rubber mallet:helpful for seating crossbeam connectors that fit snugly
- Measuring tape:useful for verifying tabletop overhang is even on both sides
- Level:helps confirm the tabletop is flat before final tightening
One Person or Two?
The Mini Ryzer and Solo Ryzer can technically be assembled solo, but a second person makes it much easier when lifting and positioning the tabletop onto the frame. The Corner Ryzer assembly is significantly easier with two people given the size and weight of the second frame and tabletop.
💡 Pro tip: Assemble the frame on the floor and attach the tabletop face-down on a soft surface (blanket or cardboard) before flipping the whole unit upright. This avoids awkward overhead tightening.
